World's First Wishmobile

East Providence, Rhode Island (July 15, 2004) The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Rhode Island's wish for a vehicle to become a symbol for its mission was granted by Paul Masse Chevrolet! The Wishmobile will be unveiled on July 15th. fully decorated by Norman Ashworth, owner of Hi Image Graphics. Stars, logos and the Foundation's contact information will be highlighted on the 2005 Chevrolet Equinox along with three important mission words, "Hope, Strength, and Joy."

"It is a wish granted for us and we are so grateful for this gift," stated Dr. Diana Hackney, President and CEO. "It allows us to get our message out in a unique way and helps budget dollars go directly to a child's wish instead of going to administrative costs such as travel."

The Rhode Island Wishmobile is the first in existence and will be used in parades, at fundraising events, and for the Foundation's travel needs. We are lucky to be the first chapter of 75 in the nation to have been given such an amazing donation!

As a family business serving Rhode Island for over 13 years, Paul Masse Chevrolet in East Providence is honored to provide a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox sport utility to the Rhode Island Make-A-Wish Foundation. In 1999, the International Union, UAW and the General Motors Corporation (GM) committed to the largest sponsorship in the history of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and have helped to grant thousands of children's wishes all across America.

In support of this sponsorship, UAW-GM people, GM employees and GM dealers in communities around the country have personally committed to volunteerism, fund raising and wish granting…truly "Making Smiles Standard Equipment®" for these courageous children.
